How To Get Full E-mail Header in Outlook Express, MS Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Windows Live Hotmail, GMail, Yahoo! Mail, and Apple Mail<\/h4>\n

Outlook Express:<\/b><\/p>\n

1. Open your Outlook Express.<\/p>\n

2. Right click on the E-Mail\u00a0whose headers you want to view, a drop down menu will appear.<\/p>\n

3. From the menu, choose \u201cProperties\u201d.<\/p>\n

  1. Click on the \u201cDetail\u201d tab and you will be able to see the E-Mail header.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Microsoft Outlook 2002\/2003\/2007:<\/b><\/p>\n

    1. Select the email and Right-click the message without opening it, then click \u201cOptions\u201d from the drop-down menu.<\/p>\n

    2. A box called \u201cMessage Options\u201d pops up.<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Near the bottom of the box you\u2019ll see a text area titled \u201cInternet headers\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n
      1. Highlight the contents, then right-click. You can copy the headers and paste them into an email message or another application.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Microsoft Outlook 2010:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        1. Select the email and Double-click to open the email in a new window.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
            \n
          1. Click on the File Button, Select Info Ribbon and click on the Properties.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
              \n
            1. You\u2019ll get your Email Header in the Internet headers section.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Microsoft Outlook 2013:<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

              1. Select the email and Double-click to open the email in a new window.<\/li>\n
              2. Click the ribbon.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                1. \u00a0You will get the email header as below image.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  1. If you can\u2019t find the ribbon, kindly follow below step. Open email in new windows, click FILE,<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    1. Click the Properties.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                        \n
                      1. Once click Properties, will get the email header.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                        Mozilla Thunderbird:<\/strong><\/p>\n

                        1. Select the email and Double-click to open the email in a new window.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                            \n
                          1. Go to View and click Message Source and one more new window will popped out.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                              \n
                            1. Copy the full email header content and paste it on a email or another application.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                              Windows Live Hotmail\/MSN:<\/strong><\/p>\n

                              Note: This article is refer to Windows Live Hotmail Full version.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

                              1. Right click on the closed E-Mail and a drop down menu will appear.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                                  \n
                                1. Choose View Source on the drop down menu.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                                    \n
                                  1. E-Mail header information will show in new Windows.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                     <\/p>\n

                                    GMail:<\/b><\/p>\n

                                      \n
                                    1. Log into your GMail Account.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                                        \n
                                      1. Open the E-Mail whose headers you want to view.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                                          \n
                                        1. You will see \u201cReply\u201d button on top right of the message pane.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                                            \n
                                          1. Click on the little arrow pointing down next to \u201cReply\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                                              \n
                                            1. Select on \u201cShow original\u201d as images above and the E-Mail header will show in new Windows.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                              \"Yahoo<\/p>\n

                                              Yahoo! Mail:<\/b><\/p>\n

                                              1. Log into your Yahoo! E-Mail account.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                                                  \n
                                                1. Open the E-Mail whose headers you want to view.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                                                    \n
                                                  1. Scroll down to the bottom right of the E-Mail, select on \u201cFull Headers\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                                                      \n
                                                    1. E-Mail header information will show in new Windows.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                                       <\/p>\n

                                                      Apple Mail:<\/b><\/p>\n

                                                        \n
                                                      1. Click at the selected email.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                                                          \n
                                                        1. Click at View > Message > Long Headers<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                                                            \n
                                                          1. Copy the entire information and paste it at notepad for us to analyze.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
