Launch your <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/answers\/questions\/4513929\/download-outlook-2016\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Microsoft Outlook 2016<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">2. From Top left menu, click on FILE &gt; click on Add Account<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">3. Select \u201cManual setup or additional server types\u201d, click Next<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">4. Select POP or IMAP, click Next<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">5. Enter your name and full email address on User\u2019s Information section.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">6. Select Account Type. You may choose either POP3 or IMAP as we support for both email protocol. This article will show the steps to create POP3 account.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">7. Enter mail.domain.com for incoming and Outgoing mail server (SMTP)<\/p>\n<p>8. Then assign your full email address and password on the Logon information section and check on to remember password<\/p>\n<p>9. Then click on the More settings. Please refer to the screenshot as below:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">10. Click on Outgoing server tab to check on My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication as it is our<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">currently mail server policy to allow sending from mail client.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">11. Click on Advanced tab and change Outgoing server (SMTP) port from 25 to 587, \u00a0click OK.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">12. Check the box \u201cLeave a copy of messages on the server\u201d if you wish server to keep your email as a backup. Click OK.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">13. After click OK, it will return to the Add account setting. Click on Next and click on Close after the Test Account Settings has been done.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">14. Your email account in Microsoft Outlook 2016 is ready to use.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to enable SMTP authentication shall the account is auto setup previously<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Go to the \u2018File\u2019 tab, Click on \u2018Account Settings\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>2. Select email account you need to update.<\/p>\n<p>3. Click on\u00a0<strong>Repair\u00a0<\/strong>and followed by<strong>\u00a0\u201cLet me repair my account manually\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4.
