Open the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/sql-server\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">SQL Server <\/a>Client Network Utility:\u00a0<b>Start &gt; Programs &gt; Microsoft SQL Server &gt; Client Network Utility<\/b><\/p>\n<p>2. Click on the \u201cAlias\u201d tab<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>3. Click \u201cAdd\u201d and enter the following information:<\/p>\n<p>Server Alias \u2013 Galaxy (Your SQL Server Hostname)<br \/>\nNetwork Library \u2013 TCP\/IP<br \/>\nComputer Name \u2013 192.168.1.11 (Your SQL server IP, see\u00a0\u00a0<b>Notes<\/b>\u00a0below)<br \/>\nPort Number \u2013 1533<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>4. Click OK \u2013 This will close out the Client Network Utility<\/p>\n<p>5. Open Enterprise Manager. Right Click \u201cMicrosoft SQL Servers\u201d and select \u201cNew SQL Server Registration\u201d This will open a wizard. Click Next.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>6. Select \u201cGalaxy\u201d (SQL Server Hostname) from the list of available servers and \u201cAdd\u201d it. Click Next.<span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>7. Choose to connect using SQL Server Authentication<\/p>\n<p>8. Enter your assigned username and password.
