You may perform the following test to confirm the SMTP<\/a> server is online and responding:<\/b><\/p>\n

1. Start > Run > cmd (WinNT\/XP\/2003) orStart > Run > command (Win95\/98)<\/p>\n

2. Type command:telnet mail.domainname.com 25 (Example as below)<\/p>\n

The message confirmed that the SMTP server is working properly.<\/p>\n

2.telnet mail.domainname.com 110 (Example as below)<\/p>\n
