Disabling Cloudflare features on admin pages for content management systems like WordPress.<\/h4>\n

To avoid getting a site offline error message when updating the admin section of your content management system, we recommend setting a Page Rule to exclude the admin section of your CMS from Cloudflare.<\/a><\/p>\n

Please do the following on the Page Rule interface (we\u2019ll use WordPress admin\u00a0section as an example):<\/p>\n

1. Go to the Cloudflare Page Rule app.
\n2. Input the URL for the admin section,\u00a0which is in this format: example.com\/wp-admin\/
\n3. Place a * before and after the URL,\u00a0so it reads as\u00a0*example.com\/wp-admin\/*.
\n4. For \u201cCache Level\u201d, choose \u201cBypass\u201d
\n5. For Performance, choose \u201cDisable\u00a0Performance\u201d
\n6. For security, choose \u201cDisable Security\u201d
\n7. Save the rule<\/p>\n

It will take 3 minutes for the rule to take effect.<\/p>\n
