In a shared hosting plan, there is a possibility that you will not able to create \u201c.htaccess\u201d because you are not allowed to upload or create a filename begin with \u201c.\u201d (dot). However, our support will be able to help you to rename the file later.<\/p>\n<p>Copy and paste following line in .htaccess file :<\/p>\n<p>Directory Index default.html index.html index.cgi index.php<\/p>\n<p>Please note that the Apache server will look for the list files, from left to right. In the above example, the Apache server will first look for \u201cdefault.html\u201d to load. If \u201cdefault.html\u201d cannot be found, it looks for \u201cindex.html\u201d next.
