Creating A FTP Account In Website Panel<\/h4>\n

FTP account allow you to use file transfer protocol (FTP) to transfer files and perform file commands in your hosting space.<\/p>\n

To create a FTP account.<\/p>\n

1. Login to your Website Panel<\/a> via cp.domain.com.<\/p>\n

2. At the center of Hosting Spaces area, click on FTP Accounts<\/p>\n

3. Select on \u201cCreate FTP Account\u201d<\/p>\n

4. At \u201cFTP Account Properties\u201d area, key in your FTP user name and password that you wish.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/p>\n

Kindly make sure the password you assigned fits the requirement as below<\/p>\n

1. Contain at least 6 characters<\/p>\n

2. Contain at least one UPPERCASE character (eg. A, B, C, \u2026Z)<\/p>\n

3. Contain at least one SYMBOL or non-alphanumeric characters. (eg.\u00a0!@#$%^\u2026)<\/p>\n

5. Next, select the folder that you would like to allow your FTP user to access such as \u201cRoot Folder\u201d.<\/p>\n

6. Finally Save the changes.<\/p>\n

Below is steps to create FTP account in\u00a0WebsitePanel version 2.1<\/b>\u00a0:<\/p>\n

1. After login WebsitePanel, under the particular Hosting Space, click on FTP Accounts.<\/p>\n

2. Click \u201cCreate FTP Account\u201d.<\/p>\n

3. Fill in FTP Account Properties that you need and Save.<\/p>\n
