What is an\u00a0addon domain?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

It is a fully functional domain that will work out of a folder in your hosting<\/a> account.<\/p>\n

READ THIS BEFORE SETTING UP AN\u00a0ADDON DOMAIN<\/i><\/a>!<\/p>\n

You cannot create\u00a0 if your DNS has not proprograted to the server. So after change the sites DNS you will need to wait 18-72 hours before attempting to create.<\/p>\n

How do I create?<\/p>\n

Please refer to the below.<\/p>\n

1) Login to cPanel<\/p>\n

2) Under Domains > Click Addon Domains<\/p>\n

3) And here you can key in new domain name and details accordingly.<\/p>\n

There are\u00a0FOUR(4)\u00a0fields cPanel asks for when creating an addon domain.
\n1. \u201cNew Domain Name:\u201d You will put in the domain.com without put www in the name!
\n2. \u201cSubdomain\/Ftp Username:\u201d This will be use for addon\/subdomain FTP account username.
\n3. \u201cDocument Root:\u201d This will be the folder cPanel creates in your main FTP accounts.
\n4. \u201cPassword:\u201d fill in any password you want here.<\/p>\n
